I’m so glad you’re here!
Get to Know Me
You can call me Sarah, and my pronouns are she/her. I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA where I went to W&J College, double majoring in psychology and philosophy. During that time, I spent two years doing community outreach work with AmeriCorps.
I went to grad school at WVU, which allowed me to heavily focus on addiction populations. In 2020, I moved Maryland and eventually landed in private practice.
Now, I’m happy to be offering individual therapy services! I always want to show up for you in an authentic way, while adding a bit a humor.
I know that trust building is an important part of the therapeutic process, so always feel free to ask questions!
Therapy Values
It’s important to me that all clients feel supported and valued. I strive for inclusivity, advocacy, and understanding. I believe in lifting people up and helping others find their voice.
I don’t take the term safe space lightly and know that it’s an active process to foster that kind of environment. In order to provide you the best services possible, I strive to consistently educate myself on cultural issues, psychological research, and evidence-based effective techniques. Therapy is also a collaborative process, so ensuring you feel heard is essential.
